Recent Watercolor Pieces

My most recent watercolor pieces. Both took a lot of layering. and the humming bird one I had some fun with some salt and water marks to get the different textures.

Watercolor

This one of my favorite color schemes in watercolor. 

I keep going back to it, but hey, if it isn't broke don't fix it. 

Sketches

 These area a couple quick sketches in charcoal I did the other day. They took about an hour each. I keep getting told by my professors I need more realistic faces and figures. So I decided I better put the cartoon/illustrative drawing aside for awhile.

Figure Drawings

Couple figure drawings I did in different styles. This was probably the only figure drawing class is the world where the models wear clothes, but we also didn't have to deal with any "awkward" situations.

Illustrative Portraits

The first one is a digital piece. I took a word (Introspetic) and expressed it. It's simple, but I think it works well to portray the message.

The next is just a fun oil piece I did. I thinned down the paint and treated it kind of like watercolor in way. It was a fun experience, and I might do it again someday. :)
